Here is a Doctor/Rose shipper site with several Series 1 promotional images under Gallery. Perfect for icons, banners, etc.

Hi--

I'm also new to the world of avatars and banners. Is there any way to create an avatar (or .sig banner) without having the image stored on a webpage?

Jack Drewell (Jack83 on OG) is a wondeful DW fan graphic artist who frequently publishes amazing works in the OG Braxiatel Collection forum.

He's produced desktops, his own Crespallion fonts from TEOTW, screensavers, XP & Mac icons and Win XP login screen.

I recommend the TARDIS screen desktop which looks identical to the TARDIS screen in later episodes.

Why does this thread keep showing up as unread? I keep looking at it hoping there is something new, but there isn't. I think it even moved up in the list this time & still has nothing new!

While I'm here, I'd like to ask if anyone is doing ART, as in drawing or painting or cartooning, on paper or with an art program either one? All this photo-editing looks great, but I'm old-fashioned & like to see the made-from-scratch stuff. (need a creaky little old emoticon here... )

Well, you can just use text, which a lot of us do--mine is just text, you see, with a link to my website. But you will see others using big graphics in that space. I'm rather new to this game myself, but I'm pretty sure those are called banners. You can see a lot of people make up special ones all their own reflecting their interests. Since there seems to be a 100-character limit on the creation of a signature, though, I don't think you can use both a banner & a link. I tried to do it & it was too long! I had to decide if using my cool banner or having the link was more important.

I found a Billie Piper centric site w/ several DW S1 & S2 icons.

NOTE: Keep in mind you may see some S1 spoilers and S2 promo pics.

Thanks.

Dave, are you still enjoying the series? We haven't heard from you since your remarkable change of heart after seeing Rose. Just wondering if the show is still meeting your expectations.

Best Regards.
