My mother is Pagan (not Wiccan because true Wiccan's do not believe in darkness) and she uses clear quartz crystals everywhere in our house- although she thinks smokey quartz crystals work better. Just buy one for each corner of the room and supposedly they will "capture" the negative energy in the room. A small sized pillar-pointer one is about $4 usually. Also, you can burn a nice smudge stick of sage and ask for a blessing, nothing complicated, or use any of the following: vinegar, salt or brick powder across the bedroom door to protect him from "harm." Tigerseye is also a great stone for protection. I don't follow her religion, but I carry a Tigerseye in my car just in case.

due to the fact that a child is involved i would do a few things before attempting any form of cleansing or banshiment. I would first remove the child from the environment for at least 7 days while monitoring the activity. If it gets worse then what ever it is doesnt really want the child to leave. if it gets better it is possible that the childs undeveloped mind and spiritual energy might be amplifying the occurrance. It is also wise to try and determine the nature of the spirit which is easier said then done. One of the easiest ways i have found to do this is to read from the psalms. I am not a christian or catholic by any means but the psalms are an effective tool for driving away many of spirits. If this does not make things worse then i would say it would be safe to say that a smudging stick of sage, some salt, and smokey quartz crystals with good vibes would due the trick. It is important that when dealing with any spiritual force especially one that has seemingly caused a physical attack on the body, that you take proper precaution before attempting anything. I would say a crucifix and a pentacle of any type would be ample as well as never letting fear to get the best you. If things get worse and more violent, i would immediately leave the environment, if it follows it means that the spirit is not that of a human, and i would suggest finding someone in your local area that has experience with this sort of thing, such as a priest, witch, or druid. Becareful of anyone who requests money. Do not have the house blessed unless the spirit is no longer present in the house, this could serve to just **** it off. Once the house is purified of the presence you can help keep it that way by taking ground sage and a sea salt mixture and lining all entrances and windows with it. it would also be wise to remove any mirrors that are hanging or placed against an exterior wall. I hope this helps you, its all i can really say without knowing more about what is going on.

Talking about Pagan and Wicca has reminded me of a pet peeve I have with TAPS. Why is everyone on the crew identified by their job; ie Investigator, Tech Specialist etc and yet the few times I have seen a Pagan on the team, she is identified as "Wiccan/Pagan as if that is her job on the investigation. It is a religion not a job. Do they write "Steve, Christian" or "Brian, Jewish"? [not that I know what religion those two follow, just using that as an example]

As a Pagan, I dont like that.
We love Ghost Hunters. Where else could we use our critical thinking skills while in the comfort of our comfy chairs? Where else could we spot fraud without leaving the safety of our living rooms? Where else could we practice our debunking abilities [like J and G claim to do]? Late night infomercials perhaps. But I don't stay up that late.

EVERY VALID PARANORMAL GROUP POSTS EVERY BIT OF EVIDENCE THEY COLLECT. WHY NOT TAPS?

Here's a bit of advice that recent episodes make me think TAPS needs to learn: TELL THE TRUTH, IT'S EASIER TO REMEMBER.

Your joking right! How can a witch with no powers help a boy afaid of the closet bogey man. Seriously here why would you believe that because
someone claims mystical powers because their a claimed witch can help a little boys fear of the dark. Maybe his parents should be more aware
of the shows he's watching on TV.

This has nothing to do with a boggy man in the closet or being afraid of the dark for he want even go in there during the day time and as for tv shows he watches sesame street, dora, and other learning shows are all I've ever seen his parents allow him to watch they don't even watch things they feel he should not watch unless they know he's asleep and they don't even talk about what he tell's them in front of him and have tryed to tell him there's nothing in there but he still insits there is and a 2 year old cann't come up with something he's never been exsosed to.

Oh no. Don't tell me you bashers are Christians! If you are; how about you look up just how many similarities there are between that crazy "Voodoo" stuff and Christianity. Using television as an excuse is the true BS.

Typically the herbs/incense used vary by belief and intent. However the most common ones are Sage, Jasmine and Dragons Blood. For more information check out our site www.nyshadowchasers.com/articles
