Did I mention that music is my other obsession?
A song that reminds me of Darien big time right now is a beautiful song by Ben Folds off of his supersunnyspeedgraphic LP called "Learn to Live With What You Are".
I know that you're in there
I can see you
You're saying you're ok
I don't believe you
And now that the gig is off
The spell is broken
The fat lady sung
The president has spoken
These days that you were waiting for
Will come and go
Like any day
Just another day
There's never gonna be a moment of truth for you
While the world is watching
All you need is the thing you forgotten
And that's to learn to live with what you are
So freak out if you wanna
And I'll still be here
Don't call me for years and when you do
Yeah, I'll still be here
I'm not saying the effort is a waste of time - but I
Just love you for the things you couldn't change
Though you've tried
These hours of confusion they will soon expire
Like everything
Does
There's never gonna be a moment of truth for you
While the world is watching
All you need is the thing you've forgotten
And that's to learn to live with what you are
Sometimes
Everything you've ever wanted
Floats above
He's sticking out his tongue and laughing
While everything
Anyone can ever need
Is down below
Waiting for you
To know this
There's never gonna be a moment of truth for you
While the world is watching
All you need is the thing you've forgotten
And that's to learn to live with what you are
You got to learn to live with what you
You got to learn to live with what you
Are

I won't post full lyrics, just the verse that reminds me of I-Man.
Ben Folds, "Still" (supersunnyspeedgraphic LP)
I stay focused on details
It keeps me from feeling the big things
But watch the microscope long enough
Things that seem still are still changing
Still (Right-Click, Save-As, rename extension)
Ben Folds Five, "Mess" (The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner)
There was a time when I
Had nothing to explain
Oh, this mess I have made
But then things got complicated
My innocence has all but faded
Oh, this mess I have made
And I don't
Believe in God
So I can't
Be saved
All alone,
As I've learned to be
In this mess
I have made
Mess (Right-Click, Save-As, change extension)
Reel Big Fish, "Brand New Hero" (Cheer Up)
Always talking but I never say a lot
And I'll blow it if I get another shot
'Cause it seems like no matter what I got
It feels like it's nothing
I feel like I'm nothing
Goin' away, leavin' today
You've gotta find a brand new hero
What will they say, when I've gone away?
You've gotta find a brand New Hero!
Brand New Hero (Right-Click, Save-As, change extension)
Incubus, "Dig" (Light Grenades)
We all have a sickness
That cleverly attaches and multiplies
No matter how we try.
We all have someone that digs at us,
At least we dig each other.
So when sickness turns my ego up
I know you'll act as a clever medicine.
If I turn into another,
Dig me up from under what is covering
The better part of me.
Sing this song.
Remind me that we'll always have each other
When everything else is gone.
Dig (Right-Click, Save-As, change extension)
The All-American Rejects, "Stab My Back" (Move Along)
Stab my back again,
It’s better when I bleed for you.
Walk on me,
There never was enough to do.
Stab My Back (Right-Click, Save-As, change extension)
Dokken, "Nowhere Man" (One Live Night)
He's as blind as he can be,
Just sees what he wants to see,
Nowhere Man can you see me at all?
Nowhere Man, don't worry,
Take your time, don't hurry,
Leave it all till somebody else
Lends you a hand.
Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like you and me?
Nowhere Man, please listen,
You don't know what you're missing,
Nowhere Man, the world is at your command.
He's a real Nowhere Man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land,
Making all his nowhere plans
For nobody.
Nowhere Man (Right-Click, Save-As, change extension)
Enjoy!! I love sharing my musical taste with people, so there is plenty more where that came from!

Oh, and my two songs are "Tangled" and "Harder to Breathe" by Maroon 5. I'll post lyrics another day. I have some things to do tonight, and work all day tomorrow until late, or I'd do it now.

Do you have the full version and name of that song in the end credits of an ep (I forgot) or it's in the lab with the Keeper... anyway, some lyrics are like this:
She's cool she's calculated
She's always in control
No emotion..
No.......
This girl has got to go
(Chorus)
All eyes on me
All eyes on me
You'll turn to see
All eyes on me
I want to be your supermodel
I want to be your fantasey
etc.

I know this was posted a really long time ago, but I was trying to find a recording of that song, and my google search brought me to this thread. Did you ever manage to find out who sang it, and if it's available for download anywhere?
Thanks:)

If you mean the song heard in the episode Impetus, I have a copy of it. Drop me an email or PM and we can make arrangements.

At other times the phrase “patience is a virtue” is the one to follow. When planning a heist you gotta be patient, make sure you know all the potential traps and pitfalls before moving in to make the score. And, ya know what? It doesn’t matter what the prize is. Cash, jewels ... or someone’s heart.

So this guy by the name of von Goethe once said, "What does not kill me makes me stronger." It always made me wonder exactly how close to death this guy came or if he ever truly lost all the will to live. For to really understand, you have to stare down death, look his metaphorical, bad-*** self right in the eyes, and somehow still find a reason to go on living.

I would love to know title/artist for this song. I've been searching with the lyrics for awhile now, not finding it.
