I have a website specifically devoted to listing the factions, along with their descriptions. Currently, there's 142 factions currently listed there. The listing only goes in alphabetical order right now, but I'm working on adding options to sort it by character and such as well.

Methinks you are late to the party. Some faction has already done this. One of the Perk factions takes this into account, I do believe, but it's a bit tongue in cheek, if you will.

There's even a LaCroix/Schanke slash faction. I shudder to contemplate this one.
