Why the Roswell Story Persists Options

The Roswell Crash story persists because of the nature of the witnesses involved. Dr Jesse Marcel had no axe to grind, nor any reason to lie. In my novel, 'The Corona Incident', he was helpful in some of the research.

It's NOT going to go away, because if you dig down past all the baloney, you eventually come to a few witnesses who were solid, reliable, and had something to say. It's as simple as that, really...

People telling story's of a spoused alien crass decades afterwards is not evidence of anything. Anecdotes alone do not make evidence, they need to be backed up by evidence and there is none. I hate it when people say they had no reason to lie, they do. Think about it. How many books have been written about this, how many shows about it. How many times have they been paid for an interview, not to lie but for the interview it self. Think hoe many people who would lie to get on TV or written about in a book. Just look at how much money the town of Roswell has made off the story. And there not all lying, look up satanic ritual abuse. people can and have made false memory. Our memory's are very fallible and the older they are the more fallible they are. (note: this also apples too alien abduction except thats worse cause people often use hypnosis to "bring out" the abduction memory's which is ****** up cause even if the hypnotists dose every thing perfectly the persons belief in alien abduction can cause the false memory's. And how many of those hypnotists are actually trained hypnotists? cause people often think they know how to do things that they really don't and many could thing there doing it write but are botching it and crating the memory's unknowingly)
And the story itself is very far fetched, aliens ether spent year, decades or century's traveling through the galaxy or are so advanced they have developed some method of traveling as speed faster than light and they come to our little blue grain of sand? Then crash? And the most far fetched of it, the most unlikely part is that the aliens are humanoid. Aliens, even intelligent aliens will not be humanoid. We evolved this shape due to our ancestry and environment, and alien world could have very, very different environments and aliens would go through very different evolutionary path. We evolved from monkey and ape like creatures that lived in trees, in forests, on a planet with 1G and atmosphere (measurements or atmospheric pressure). Noe think of a planet with 5g's and 100 atmospheres.
Another major problem is that the government has been keeping it secret for 60 years. Fist theres no logical reason they would keep it secret fro such along period of time and second they couldn't. This is the stupidity of most conspiracy theory's, the conspirators seem to have an infinite ability to suppress information. Sense most people who believe in the Roswell ***** believe that many UFO's are alien and the government know about it, something that big could not be kept secret.

The whole Roswell crashed UFO just doesn't work. The most plausible possibility is that it was a weather balloon caring to secret equipment that was being tested meant to detect the detonation of nuclear bombs and an idiot decided to cover that up by saying "It was the crash of a flying saucer" and then his superiors heard of it and changed the story.

It won't go away for three reasons.

One, there are people with letters behind their names that spew this stuff so us poor ol' laypersons buy the crappola.

Two, there are enough conspiracy nutjobs out there that won't let it die.

Three, the government won't let it die because it is great for covering up all sorts of top secret experiments.

Don't really care one way or the other. I didn't say I wanted it to stay a secret, I don't care.
But if the government cops to the truth then they lose a big portion of their cover stories they use for ongoing secret experiments. As long as people are willing to twist this stuff into alien mythologies then the government has a nice safe place to hide their experiments. Is it that important that you know what they were experimenting with? Fine, I will tell you, STEALTH. The US obtained STEALTH technology from the Germans after WWII. Don't believe me? Check out a German plane in the basement of the Smithsonian, it is the direct design of the modern US stealth fighter. And the design was straight from that German aircraft.

They did, it was a weather balloon, what they neglected to says was it was caring top secret experimental equipment designed to detect nuclear explosions. They where planing of releasing balloons like them over the Soviet Union so that if the Soviet Union eve developed nuclear weapons (which they did) the government would know.

There is a lot of chaff mixed in with the wheat concerning Roswell. Let me say this:

I've exchanged messages with Dr Jesse Marcel. (He was a boy when his father, Major Marcel, brought pieces of the supposed alien craft home. Dr Marcel was able to keep some of these pieces for a few days, until the MP's showed up and collected everything)

Dr Marcel has no reason to lie. Let me re-interate this point. Until he retired from medicine a short time ago, he was just a good old country doctor. He hasn't lived in New Mexico for years. He told his story once in a book, but he took no money for doing it. Mostly, he shies away from the press and has done only a couple of interviews.

I don't believe he is lying. When you suspect people of lying about something, the first thing you must ask yourself is this:

What do they have to gain by lying? In Marcel's case, the answer is Absolutely Nothing.

Education:

Pre-med undergraduate work was accomplished at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and I attended LSU School of Medicine at New Orleans, Louisiana graduating July of 1961 earning a degree in medicine. I then completed a rotating internship at the Charity Hospital, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Military History:

I joined the US Navy in 1962 and was assigned to the USS Renville (APA 227) and shortly there after participated in the Cuban Missile Crisis attached to combat units as member of ship's company. The Renville then sailed for West Pac and then to the South East Pacific Area where we participated in combat training in case of enemy attack on the ship. After the West Pac tour, I completed my specialty training in Otolaryngology at the Naval Hospital, San Diego, California. I then retired from the Navy in July of 1971 and entered private practice in Helena, Montana. I joined the Montana Army National Guard in 1973, went through helicopter flight training as a flight surgeon at Ft. Rucker, Alabama earning my wings in 1981. During my career in the National Guard, I was appointed State Surgeon of the State of Montana and retired from the military the second time in August of 1996 on my 60th birthday. The Iraqi war required my being called back to active duty in October of 2004 shortly after my 68th birthday. I then served as a flight surgeon for the 189th Attack Helicopter Battalion flying 225 hrs of combat while in country being discharged again from active duty in December of 2005 to the Ready Reserve.

Civilian History:

I am currently employed as a specialist in Otolaryngology at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Ft. Harrison, Montana.


Ask yourself again. Does this man sound like someone who makes up stories? I think not.

Military alone says yes. We military types aren't the most honest.

But I do have a problem with the way his military history is phrased. Either he is making it up or he needs to change the wordage a bit.

it persists because the crash occurred,
people were threatened if they revealed anything ,
people were disappeared ( the nurse who magically became someone who didnt exist ) ,



and the cover stories which the Government has come up with ( weather balloon , project mogul balloon , test dummy drops , U2 / SR-71 development , stealth development , etc etc ) do not hold water .


and the government is not trusted ( this lack of trust is valid )

the washington lights also come to mind, as do Foo fighters caught in ww2 aircraft gun cams
plenty of credible ppl have seen what can only be craft of unknown origin, police , military, medical, airline pilots.

one theory suggests the craft was crashed on purpose to seed technoligy to us.

the idea is the silicone chip, laser and transister were all reverse engineered from the "crash" debris and large portions of todays chips, lasers, are slipped offplanet.
it makes sense from an interstellar mining pov, planets with biospheres are easier to mine because you can GM local life forms to mine and produce the products for you, bit like training a guide dog, lot of setup time but the results are worth it.

the people who found the wreckage , before they died said that the "wreckage" in the official press release photo was not what they found .

it was not a balloon , mogul or weather


when this cover proved not to be believed , the government went to the crash dummies lie
sad part is , those were not dropped until 7 years after the crash.

while this has been the most believable of the lies put forth by the government , the claims are not supported by the facts of available scientific ability at the time of the Roswell crash . even the germans ( who were undoubtedly decades ahead of everyone else at the beginning of the second world war )
were not , by that time able to produce the materials described by the original wreck finders.

those materials are not even able to be produced today with well more than a half century of progress in science



so , no , sorry I don't buy the "official" story

The Funny thing about the foo fighter, both sides thought it was a secret weapon of the others.
utube has lots of footage, my favourite is the concord footage, seen by all aboard it even made the news world wide at the time
