I was playing baseball in cape cod for the summer. One night I turned on the the oven to cook a pizza. Next thing I know the oven was on fire because thats where they would keep there bread and chips... So I am trying to put out the fire and not really knowing what to do... The next thing that happend was really an experience... I heard someone come up the steps.. and I know that I was home alone.. anyways i heard someone come up the stairs and I heard someone say holy ****... I was so confused about what was going on trying to put the fire out and then thinking somone was there with me was very very freaky... When my host family came home and I told them everything that happend and what I heard they told me the story... It wasnt the first time they have felt or heard something and then it gets deeper. They had a son that had passed away in a boating accident.. and that was him that I heard. It wasnt the first time something that was out of place of moved after a night of sleep.. really crazy..

I have had several paranormal experiences in my life I will make them brief.

1. When I lived in Dayton, Ohio in the Oregon district across from a delapitated church, I took up resident in an old Apartment building with real wooden floors. The place was so old the basement was of dirt and still had coal in its bins from when coal was used to heat the place. I woke up one day with a the feeling that something was on my chest and I was being literally choked. When I opened my eyes, a white tattered robed woman was hovering above me with her arms outstretched to my neck. I lost consciousness and woke up later. Never saw her again.

2. When I was in the military, I was aboard the USS Connie, at the time the world's largest conventional aircraft carrier. The story behind the Connie is that while being built there was a massive fire in which about 80 people died. This is confirmed by the plaque in the hangar bay with their names on it. One night walking through the ship heading to bed, a hatch, leading to the armory below, opened up and I heard footsteps walking. I proceeded to do an abolut face and get to my bunk some other way. There have been others aboard this ship that have had similar experiences.

3. A few years back the paranormal invstigator program (with the psychic) from Britain was airing their show live on halloween (first time to air live in the USA). I am not going to mention the name of it as it appears on a travel channel. That night I watched the program live but recorded it on my dvr for later viewing. I was handing out candy to children so I wanted to record it on the dvr in case I missed something and could watch it later. When I turned to the recording, every time they said a ghost or entity was about to do something the recording went to snow. Now I know that during the live version of this the broadcast was crystal clear and had not been interrupted in any way. Every time there was activity from something spiritual my recording went to snow. I can't expalin it and I promptly deleted it as I believed that if I kept it something evil would have come through.

4. I just moved into a new home recently. I have had this experience on and off my entire life so I am used to it but its getting more and more active. In my master bedroom, I have seen a shadow and things move. In my walk in closet, I have a pair of shoes hanging in a bag that swings from side to side with no one in there or around to make it do so. In my bed I feel covers move across my body. The other morning I woke up to the bottom of my bed literally shaking/vibrating. As I lay there to the bed shaking I watched my ironboard lift up off the floor and come back down several times. I am the only one who lives in the house besides a cat. She will not go into that room and when I take her into that room she runs out as fast as she can. The shaking of the bed I have experienced over the years. I can't explain it. Downstairs I have also seen shadows but nothing like what is happening in the master bedroom. The cat used to sleep with me at night when I lived elsewhere. For her not sleep with me at night in that room is very strange indeed. When I am downstairs on the coouch she has no problem sleeping next to me.

these are just some of the things i have experienced through out my adult life to what is currently happening.

QUOTE (Oshana @ Nov 9 2007, 06:46 PM) *
I've had a few in my lifetime, my brothers have also.

One experience was before my mother passed away. It was Christmas time and my mother and I were in the kitchen. She was standing in front of the fridge about to open it when she stopped and shuddered. At that very same moment I saw two shadow figures behind her and she felt suddenly very cold. Then the coldness went away and the shapes faded out quickly. My mother and I talked about what happened and that is how I found out she felt cold while the figures were standing behind her. We believe them to have been either my father's parents or her grandparents (I knew my great-grandparents).

I've seen other shadow shapes too. On one occasion I saw two dog shadows (at night out in the country), running in a field along side the car. To this day I still believe it was my old choc lab Bubba and my first wolf Sonoma. Bubba died a few years before I got Sonoma. Sonoma was 4 when she passed.

There have been other incidents that did not involve black shadows, but, I don't discuss them on open forums, if at all.

I have three

1. My grandparents died before christmas. And we Christmas day and we took pictures of opening presents and all that and we saw orbs in the pictures 1 orb in 3 pictures.

2.I was getting ready to watch ghost hunters and no one was home they were eating. I was thinking they ghost can't come out this early then I heard a bump and a red dot on my smoke alame but it didn't go off.

3. I was driving to work and I saw 2 girls onthe side of the road then I go by a tree and I looked back and they were not there

I know Im a little late on this but I just joined. I've had a few experiences since movin into the house that I now reside in. The creepiest one for me was when I was layin on my side in bed, fully awake watchin TV, with most of the bed behind me. All of a sudden I felt someone lay down behind me like when a person is layin down it started from the middle of the bed pushin down the whole time and went all the way up to the headboard, I knew no one was there cuz that side was up against the wall. I didn't roll over cuz I didn't really care to see what was there. I finally got up after a few minutes and nothing was there.

I've had something happen while watchin ghosthunters that is similar to #2. They were at Wright Patt Air Force Base and they were asking for a spirit to make a noise and right after they said that the door leadin to my garage slammed shut and I saw it happened. I slept with the lights on the rest of the night after that.

I thought it would be interesting to see how many people currently on this BB have had a personal, paranormal experience. I know my own sighting and occurances is what originally drew me to the show. Mine was a sighting and movement of items in my home.

Let's get in the mood for a few ghost stories! Please only post if you absolutely, positively, undeniably believe in what you saw or experienced as being fact. Then let the comments fly . . . elsewhere!

This thread for experiences only, commentary elsewhere!

I have the ghost dog experience too....
The first time I really noticed them was with the death of my father...I stayed at his house for several months and they were my constant companions...
I have been home for a while now and every now and then my youngest dog "plays" with them...
On Friday two weeks ago the "dogs" were active again....I found out that my Aunt had been hospitalized and a few days later she died...

Aside from that....mirror breaking and lights turning on..oh and the unplugged jukebox playing "Little Darling"...

Seems pretty normal to me.......

I've had a couple paranormal experiences.
THe first was when my friends and i were out on the hill in my back yard telling ghost stories. I had been looking at the ground and i looked up, when i did the background of my vision was blurred and there wasn't anybody around me and there was a black shadow that looked like a man in a trench coat gliding along the ground. i watched it go across then all of a sudden my vision dissappeared and i was back to earth and my friends were looking at me weird, it was like a trance.
The second was this year a few months ago i was walking to the bus stop at 5:55am to wait for the bus to go to school and it was i was the only one walking the streets, when i heard " Jesssssiica" being whispered somewhere close to me so i stopped and looked around and nobody was out there it was just me, i got a quick chill up my spine because i was alone it was dark and with my name being whispered almost in my ear i walked to the bus stop and looked around trying to figure out what might have sounded like what i heard but i got nothing.

Summit was one of the first predominatly black elementary schools and back in the 60's when we were desegregating they were sending children from the school to all the white elementary schools. The story goes that the janitor went crazy because they was sending black students to white schools that one night, he kidnapped four children and killed them in the broiler room. You can actually see inside the broiler room from the outside in the back. Rumor has it that he then committed suicide off the smoke stack that is located near the broiler room. My contact was as follows: Back in 1997, a friend and I parked in the alley of the school. There was a basketball court where we used to park and chill, but that night we wanted to test things out. I put the car in neutral and we both made sure that the car was totally not on a hill. For a while everything was fine until all of a sudden we were going forward. Slowly and then faster so I pushed the brakes and locked the doors. There was nobody outside of the car. Fast forward to 2007. Around January, I decided to ask the new owners if I might be able to investigate using some cameras and with their permission of course, prove otherwise of a haunting. I was walking my dog at the time and the man told me I would have to talk to some church, because they now owned the property, which is now used as an activity center for San Jacinto Christian Academy. Coming along the side of the school facing the alley there is a door with three steps leading to it and to the right is an orange grate with a hole in the side so as you can bend down and look inside. It was daytime and I looked and I saw a tarp and wondered if any of the homeless ever sneak in there and sleep at night. The next day, I decided to take my husband and my dog again to the Summit Elementary and on the way back to the car, I had a hunch to look in the grate again. It was again daytime as at night i do not like to go on the property. I bent down with my dog and glanced inside and seen a man standing facin away from me. I seen black work boot with blue jeans and a greenish shirt but what sent goosebumps and negative energy up my whole arm and throughout my body was that it was only the right side I saw. And I knew it was not of this earth because of the negative energy I automatically got. I backed up and took off to the car and begged my husband to take a look to see if I was seeing things, but he took one look at me and he said, if you said you seen it you got me messed up to look cuz I believe you. That is the last experience I have had, besides a dream I had one time about going inside. But I have never actually been inside. Since I was 10 years old and probably younger than that, things occurred in this house that confused me. When I would ask my mother about it and the dreams I was having, she would not have a straight answer for me. So I began to study up on the paranormal. By the age of 21 years old, I found out that I am precognitive through my dreams and I am able to sense presences. We'll start with the recurring dream: This house is a duplex but the wall was taken down at the time of us living there while I was younger. I would be alone and feel an evil presence on the east side of the house in the back bedroom, I would run to try to get out of the back door and my mother and father would be coming in from work on the other side of the door. I would tell my mother, don't go back there, mom, he's going to get you, he's going to get you and I would run outside. Then I would wake up. This dream happedned so many times and when questioning my mom she wouldn't tell me anything. Until I was 17. And this was the answer I was looking for all them years since I was a child. If she would have told me then, I could have stopped the dream. She told me that the far east bedroom was one bedroom instead of two when she was a child and that after her father came home from the war, he was a meaner, nastier man and would go into the bedroom at night and hurt her and her sisters. It explained my dream. He is specifically the father of my mother whom I never met because he died when my mom was 15 of cancer, but I believe because she prayed God would take him away before he could do to her baby sister what he had done to them all them years. Also, I have seen a short old man, who one night as a child, I woke up and went to the bathroom and when I came back, layed back down and something kept pulling my eyes to look beside me at the toys I had and there was a little man with his back (hunched back) facing away. He turned around and started laughing which made me scream and he disappeared. Later in 2004, my aunt Glenda, who sees full apparitions, would run into him and when I told her my story she said it reminds her of the little old miner man that was always appearing to her and pointing to the ground where she parked her truck in the back yard. She said he would tell her to dig but thats all. She said he wasn't scary. Things would move by themselves. One day, while my sister and I and the dog was in the living room, there was a single couch cushion that was in the middle of the floor. We was watching cartoons and all of a sudden, the cushion slid across the floor by itself. My sister and I jumped up and ran outside leaving the dog in the house and did not go back until my mom and dad got home. Also, we had a German Shepard that when we tried to get him to go on the east side of the house, he was so scared he yelped and would not allow us to touch him for a whole day. We never tried to make him go on that side again. This could all be the fault of my aunt Rosie, since she was stupid enough to play the ouija board by herself when she was young.

I know about the clock thing..my Dad had many clocks in the house...when he died they all stopped...
We also have an antique clock that stopped when my grandfather died....Many years later my brother took the clock home....he never did anything with it...on the anniversary of my grandfather's death...(some 20 years later) it just started working again....

My older brother and I have always had some sort of unexplainable experince happen to us. But I have two stories to tell. The first one was when my family lived in Alaska and it was the summer, I was nine years old and was laying in my bed. It was the middle of the 'night' but still very much daylight so I could see everything in my bedroom. I was still awake when I heard footsteps coming towards my bedroom. Thinking that it was my brother or mother going into the restroom next door to me, I never put thought to it. All of the sudden I could feel a hand caressing my hair back while I was laying on my pillow. It stroked my hair about four times when I finally opened my eyes and sat up. I could hear foot steps running out of my room but since it was still day light in my room, there was no one running out.....

The next major event happened when I was eleven years old and my mother just had a baby but during delivery, she miscarried the babies twin. She didn't tell us (my brother and I). One night while I was holding my new baby sibling, from the nursery I heard a babies cry. I asked my brother to go check it out but he couldn't find anything. After about three weeks of hearing the baby cry whenever the new baby was in the same room with the rest of the family, my brother got the idea to set up a tape recorder outside of the nursery. While recording for about an hour, we heard the baby cry again from the nursery. Remind you, the new baby was in the living room with us. Was this crying baby in the nursery the baby my mother lost during her delivery? My mother started feeling so guilty of this poor baby that she started sitting in the nursery for hours just talking to it while my brother and I baby-sat the new baby. About six months later we stopped hearing from the nursery baby, we still have the tape of it crying.....

Ok, so I was like 8 years old and my cousins and I and a couple friends decided to sleep in the backyard in this huge tent that we had. It had just started getting dark and we were running around playing tag and my cousin fell in this hole. She starts yelling in a different voice, like an evil male voice, and then she got up and started running at her best friend like she was crazy. I saw her eyes and they were all red like all of sudden she had gone crazy. She jumped on top of her friend and started choking her. We started pulling her off and screaming for my parents. We pull her off and she falls on the ground and she gets up and does not remember a thing. It was insane and I still can see that look in her eyes. I get chills up my spine when I think about it. I truly believe she was posessed.

We had moved away from that house and moved into a house that was built on an indian burial ground that had been moved to a more secluded area. Well, in my house, my sister and I were watching tv and all of sudden we hear footsteps upstairs. It sounded like a woman's high heels on the wooden floor. We called my mom all scared and she said it must have been a rat (??). We run into my bedroom and try to turn on the lights and they would not turn on so we just ran outside. We waited until my mom got home from work, and we went into my bedroom and the lights worked again. We had tried everything before: fuse box, the hall light worked. Later that night I was falling asleep and I felt someone in the room. I open my eyes and I see this lady. She was dressed in something like an old wedding dress. I screamed and she disappeared. I never saw her again, but my sister did until she turned about 13 years old.

It was creepy, but the more I think about it and the more I find out from watching Ghost Hunters, I think she was just trying to be comforted. I talk outloud sometimes just to give her company. Later!

A long time ago, when I was about 8, my mom and I were traveling on hwy 26. As we were traveling we noticed a car off to the side of the road. I had looked and didn't seen anyone in the vehicle. The next thing I know is that the car came abruptly up onto the highway with police lights on. My mom is very scared of police officers this I will probably never know why, but she is. So, she decided to pull off the side of the road and up to a house. The whole time I kept looking back at the car and the highway. There was no other vehicles coming or going. The police car just stayed at the end of the road. My mom had decided to to turn the car off. At this point I was pretty frightened! The next thing we know the car turns around and heads back to the spot that it was sitting at and turns off its lights. My mom tried to start the car and it would not start. At this point her and I were both scared. She said we would have to walk over to the next house(no cells at this time) and try to get help. We got out walked all the way down the drive to the highway and walked past the car. I was petrified. My mom told me directly do not look into the car. I couldn't help myself, so I did. There was nobody in the car. When we were about half way there to the other house. I looked back and the car was gone! I didn't hear no car start and take off. . . To this day my mom and I both don't know what that was all about.

When I was 17 I was in a car accident and bled so much that by the time the paramedics got there, I had bleed to death, no heart beat, lips turning blue, cold to the touch, the whole 9 yards... One paramedic wanted to try and revive me with electric shock, the other paramedic said it was too late and it wouldn't work. Luckily the one who wanted to revive me won the argument. They got a pulse the second time they shocked me and rushed me to the hospital. I was in a coma for over a month.

I had a near death experience that I believe was real. Here's what I remember immediately after the car wreck...

I was on my way to my mom's house when I got in the accident. After the accident, I remember walking through my mom's front gate and approaching the front door. I wanted to knock, but couldn't for some reason. I tried a few more times walking up to her door to knock, but I couldn't knock on the door, or even figure out why I couldn't knock, so I just gave up and went away...

The next thing I remember is being in what I can only describe as a place without 3 dimensions or time. I was somewhere, but ten miles away and two feet away seemed like the same distance. And there was this eerie lack of time, I don't know if I was in this place for 1 minute or three days...There was no 'light' as we know it although I wouldn't call it dark...Sorry, but trying to describe this to someone who has never seen it for themselves is like trying to describe the color green to someone who was born blind.

I don't know how long I was there, like I said, there was no sense of time. But after a while I saw three figures in front of me. They didn't look like angles or demons, more like silhouettes of sexless naked human forms made of pure light, with auras around them also made of light. At first they didn't talk, then, the one in the middle said, "Why are you hear?" I've always been a smart *** in life, and I guess death doesn't change that aspect of your personality, because I replied, "BECAUSE I'M DEAD!" I knew the three beings were talking amongst themselves, although I couldn't hear them talking so much as feel them talking. Finally, the one in the middle said. "You have to go back." All of the sudden I felt like I was being sucked *** first through a giant vacuum cleaner tube (Sorry, but that's what it felt like, LOL!). The next thing I remember is a nurse screaming for a Doctor. A Doctor came in and stuck this bright *** little flashlight in my eyes. It hurt like hell, and I was trying to tell him to get that flashlight out of my eyes! I couldn't understand why I couldn't talk. It was because I had a tube stuck down my throat.

After a couple of really confusing days went by they removed the tubes and I could talk.

Now here's the part that freaked me out...My mom came to visit me in the hospital as soon as they would let her see me. We talked about what happened, and when I told her about the part where I was walking up to her front door trying to knock on the door, she turned white and I thought she was gonna pass out. I asked her what was wrong and this is what she told me...

On the day of the accident she started feeling weird, like something had happened to me. (I was going to surprise my mom by stopping by, so she had no idea I was on the way...). She was sitting in the living room looking out a window that showed a full view of the front sidewalk all the way to the front door. She said she saw me walking up the sidewalk to the front door 3 times, but every time she would get up to go open the door, no one was there. That's when she knew something had happened and started calling the police and the hospitals. When she first called the hospital I was in, they told her I wasn't there. (I wasn't carrying any ID when the car wreck happened, so they admitted me to the hospital as a "John Doe". The hospital didn't figure out until 2 days later who I was, so the next time my mom called to see if I was there, they told her I was.

I had never been a religious person, but after that experience I wanted to find out what had really happened to me and if anything like this had happened to other people. This was about the time the Internet was just getting started, so you couldn't just sit down and 'Google' stuff. So I spent years studying theosophy, theology, parapsychology, and the occult looking for answers. I found similar cases from religious and non religious people alike, and the similarities in what they all saw was amazing.

My experience didn't cause me to 'get religion' or anything. IMHO all religions are full of too many contradictions to be remotely believable. However, the experience I had was over 24 years ago, and as I'm writing this, I can still see the memories of what I saw then as clear as if it happened an hour ago. The place I was in was not heaven or hell. It felt more like a place in-between life and death, kind of like what Catholics call 'limbo'. I never got all the way to the other side, so I have no idea what's there. But no matter what anyone tells me, there is something after death. I know, I was there. Peace.

New to this forum but wanted to share my experience. My parents had bought a relatively new home in CT (about 4 years old) in 1980. I lived there until I got married. During that time, my sister and I experienced many strange things which seemed to get progressively worse as we got older. I can remember not liking the upstairs hallway. Really freaked me out. I also remember one night waking up and a woman who resembled my mother walking by my bed in a long linen/cotton type nightgown. She looked out the window and walked back. I said "mom" but she walked away so I just shrugged it off. The strange activity happened one day when my sister, brother and I were horsing around. My mother had gone out to run an errand. I went to turn on the den lights when this blue electical ray of some sort came up from the top of the lamps at either end of the couch, met in the middle and made this blue electrical ball. I was so scared as I was about to sit down I turned off the lights. From then, weird things continued to happen. The toilet in my parent's bedroom would flush for no reason; the cellar door slammed shut for no reason (the air conditioning nor heat did not go on). One night when we were coming home, I saw a large man's profile standing in the center window of the living room. When I asked my mom if my dad was home, she saw it as well and we saw it step back. My dad's work truck was not in the driveway so my mom backed out of the driveway and called the police from our neighbor's house. There was no sign of a break in and no footsteps by the window. My mother figured it was the way we came down the hill and saw the backboard of the basketball net. As we got older, my sister would come home from school and go to her room, close the door and lie on her bed to watch TV. She would hear kids running down the hall and open the door and see no one. I came home one afternoon. In my room, I had made a musical box church that was sitting on my dresser. Never wound it but it started playing. When I went to touch it, it stopped. There would be nights I would be home alone and would hear footsteps coming down the stairs. I also woke one night and thought the power was off as I could not see my digital alarm clock. Suddenly, a large male figure stepped to the left causing me to jump out of my bed and turn the lights on. No one was there. I didn't feel the house could be haunted as I always thought it was older homes that had hauntings. Another afternoon I came home from school quite excited about something I needed to tell my mother. When I came to the door, I could hear the TV blaring in my parent's room. I opened the door, still hearing the TV and the shower was going as well. I yelled for my mother, ran up the stairs to dead silence. Said my mom's name again, peeked into the bathroom and found no one. I went to the garage and my mother's car was not there and I left the house until my parent's came home. It wasn't until my sister and brother moved out that most of the activity happened to me. I would feel something pulling on my sheets, felt something pressing on my legs or chest but couldn't wake up. I also felt like I was levitating at one point but in my mind fought it. I would wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom light and either the light wouldn't go on (hall nightlight was still on) or it would shut off on me. I recall going to see the Warren's and she had said if you suspect a spirit, especially evil, to say "in the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to leave". I had to say that many times, either out loud or in my head. It wasn't until I moved out and was watching some paranormal show that I came to accept the fact that I lived in a home that was "haunted". I thought ghosts were transparent so seeing a dark shadow move away from my clock...I just didn't think it could possibly be a spirit. I had always wanted someone to investigate that house but my parent's since moved. They wouldn't admit that it was haunted but after they left, my father said he saw the same woman I saw in his bathroom while he was showering. They also said the TV would go on by itself and he awoke one night saying the devil's face was staring at him and grabbed my mother. So although I don't have anyone to officially say it was haunted, I definitely feel something was going on there. I would love to learn what happened in that area...whether there was a civil war encampment or something. Then again, I sometimes want to forget about it.

This is really not a reply but, I need to know if anyone else has had this experience before. Recently I was driving and I smelled a strong odor of roses or some other sort of flower (there are no flowers in the area). I remember Steve on Ghost Hunters had said that it means something, can anyone refresh my memoery on this experience ??

I believe that people with negative thoughts and emotions tend to be like a magnet for the paranormal.I beleive that spirits can feel these strong emotions and linger to emotions strong enough to leave traces almost like trails to be followed.Even during shows you hear jason and grant talking about taking back your home by not showing fear and taking a stand . To say that a person would know if they had a paranormal experiance or not would be all opinion without proof. Most likly now days after the world as it is things will get even worse in the years to follow, just think investigating where the twin towers stood 50 to 100 years from now .... The previous statement was not ment as a joke.I'm sure you get what i'm saying though.

I had an experience when I was quite young, I would say about 10 or so. It all started with my aunt dieing. She had lived with us and, and when we came home from shopping one night my mother and I found her dead in her sleep. The incident I speak of happened the night of her funeral. I was in bed when I heard the door of what was my aunts room open, and then walking and the sound of her cane stomping down the hall. something stopped at my door and looked right at me, scared the you know what out of me. It then continued to the bathroom turned on the tub faucet, and the sink faucet and went to the bathroom. I know that's strange, that whatever it was going to bathroom but it then flushed the toilet. Now this is something she used to do all the time. She would turn on all the faucets just to flood the bathroom, she was a tad touched in the head. After flushing the toilet whatever it was turned off both faucets. Clip clopped back out, stopped again at my door, then finished up to my aunts room, and closed the door. Now I would have thought it was just a child's imagination, as i'm sure you all are thinking it was, if it wasn't for the fact that years later I found out my mother heard the same thing. Talk about creepy.

there was another time that I was in Virginia at picket's charge. I could smell the gun powder, I could hear the soldiers...what I think really freaked me at the time was when I went to look over at the hill, I was actually able to see the soldiers coming up the hills. At this point I was 13.

I also had a third time that I had an experience, this one scared my teacher I think to no end. My class and I visited the alamo in San Antonio, TX. As you first walk in there is a musuem that you can see all sorts of things they used back there. Guns, uniforms, books that sort of thing. then you walk through a door to the courtyard and you can either go exploring the rest of the outdoor area or go across to the shop there. Well what happened to me happened as soon as I went into the courtyard. Again I heard the screams, smelled the gun powder, but i also heard and smelled people dieing. I got sersiously sick to my stomach, luckily for me my teacher was there. I must have turned as white as a ghost because next thing I knew my teacher was there with me asking if I was o.k. I vaguely remember her asking me what was wrong and me asking her if she could hear or smell what i was. She then quickly told two students to help me to leave the area and go into the gardens. I never really understood why at the time...I do believe I was maybe 15 at the time. Several years later I went back with my mother, now I warned her what I had seen, heard, and smelled and told her it was strong. When she got in she had to sit down within about 5 minutes of being here, after sitting for 5 minutes she just started to cry and wanted out of there.

With 3 incidents in my life it amkes me wonder why me? And if anyone else was like me? If anyone else had things happen like this to them. An fyi...i too grew up very close to Salem.

I am not one that has negative thoughts, I mean of course I have them sometimes everyone does. However I don't always have them. However I have had experiences. In fact the times that I have had experiences I wasn't really thinking anything particular at the time it just happened. I don't know if there is a rhyme or reason for experiencing something, I don't think anyone can ever explain that, I just know it can happen. Can science prove it? Nope not really. It's a leap of faith actually.
