Werewolves are a race of humans with the ability to tranform into a wolf. The werewolf race was created as a result of a retrovirus that infected the progenitors of the race. Retroviruses often incorporate bits and pieces of the DNA of cells they infect into their own structure, prior to co-opting the cellular machinery for their own use. The copies of such viruses sometimes pass this DNA onto cells they infect. By this method, DNA from one organism can be transformed to another; it is now thought that this might be one mechanism of evolution.

The Lycanthropy Virus is not related to any known genus of virus or viroid. The complexity of the virus is staggering. Though technically a retrovirus, the degree to which it rewrites its host's genetic code puts it in a league all its own. Most viruses are highly specific in what type of tissue they target. This virus, however, is capable of infecting virtually every cell in the human body. It is even able to modify its host's chromosomes on an epigenetic level. Due to its unique protein-structure, the retrovirus that causes lycanthropy is likely of extraterrestrial origin - brought to Earth by either a comet or meteor. Apparently at some point the retrovirus infected a wolf and incorporated some of the wolf's DNA - as a result, its transmission and infection into a human means that wolf DNA is incorporated into that person's genetic structure.

There are locked sequences and open sequences in DNA. Open sequences manifest physically as a characteristic. Werewolves have the ability to lock off certain genetic codings while they open others. When that happens there is a literal transformation of the cellular structure, which changes from a human to a wolf form. So the human form does not go anywhere, it simply shifts, it changes into a wolf form because those sequences are opened. After consciously shifting, werewolves also have the ability to shift it back.

Ultraviolet radiation in the particular frequency and wavelength form that it is reflected off of the moon during a full moon night has a special effect on a werewolf's biochemistry. The effect of moonlight is that it initiates a hormonal signal that autonomically activates the wolf DNA sequences. Even the minute amount of moonlight rays in the atmosphere during a full moon is enough to activate the werewolf shift, meaning that a werewolf does not have to be in direct exposure to moonlight to involuntarily change. Instead, they will autonomically change when simply in a region with a full moon out. When this happens, werewolves are unable to voluntarily lock off the wolf genetic codes until the increased moonlight has gone, i.e. at dawn.

Interesting, where did this come from, you or else where.

It's my own creation...a theory.

What makes you so sure on your findings unless you've tested your theories and proved them to be true? Anyone could understand that you have made your theories based on the obvious knowledge of WereWolves..But you speak it as you know all of it to be true, that you know. You see it on a technical level, a bio level..But do you honestly believe WereWolves to be real?

Would love to read more of what you have to say, or have I read some of your work already?
