A web comic I read had a couple of spaceships in one of the panels. The artist challenged people to write in and name the ships, but I can't place them. Every time I think I have the answer, I discover I'm wrong. Here's your chance.
The comic strip can be found at:

If you care to search for them THIS site ought to have them.
I'm looking at the site now and by the way. My god it's huge.
But it's got a cool scaled representation of Godzilla and the Stay Puff Marshmellow man. Godzilla would totally kick Staypuff's butt!

Yeah, thats what SHE said heheNo but seriously, Jeff Russel's Starship Dimensions is a really great site.
I was the one that lobbied Jeff to include the TARDIS on the 10X page.
PS
I still have'nt got a clue as to which movie/series etc that those ships are from.

The one in the left hand reminds me of the one that Saint-Exmin (Sybil Danning) piloted in Battle Beyond the Stars. But I haven't seen it in years...

I'm gonna guess Battle Beyond The Stars or maybe something from the old Battlestar Galactica?

I am very impressed with both the web sites, wonderful work!
I haven't completely gone through them yet, but even if the mystery ships aren't listed, it's a fun way to spend some time.
Thanks,

Thanks,
After watching the video that Haizums_breath posted a link to, it looks like the other spaceship is the one that Robert Vaughn's character piloted. I have to go with Battle Beyond the Stars as the source of the spaceships.

On a scale of 1-10? 9.99
Like finding a needle in a very large b rated /Sci-fi hay stack from the 70's
I love how some of the ships were recycled in other sci-fi flicks of the era. I seem to rememeber a movie called Space Radiers that had a lot of the same ships used in Battle Beyond the Stars. Much cheeper to use somone else's stuff over again.
But your old trailer from Battle Beyond the Stars link (which was a blast from the Video past btw) yelded a even more humorus trailer in the link to the right...
StarCrash
Can you name all of the things it copies? I think I could start off with the whole lightsaber copy for one. It is so bad looking it is fun.
Killer times, work well.
