11 more episodes beginning on January 16th 2009 in america and January 20th on Sky1 in the UK, {if the last episode is a three parter}completing season 4 dealing with the fallout of finding earth, the head pple, the fifth cylon and all that jazz.......

{ there was a rumor going around that season 4.5 would be moved back to april as opposed to january but don't worry an official spokesperson for sci fi announed that this particular rumor was false and that season 4.5 would be broadcast in january}

BSG has now completed filming as of friday 11th July.

BSG will be broadcast in January to avoid the autumn sports season and up and coming new shows that BSG will have to compete with as well not to mention work in post production.
The final 10 episodes will be supersized in order to fit in everything the producers deem necessary to complete the story.

Bsg tv movie news 2009 { Feb BSG movie update}
Movie Title: 'The Plan'
On June 28th 2008 in an interview with Grace Park in the LA times, she said that there was a greenlight for another Razor like movie with filming beginning in august. However filming for the movie is now talking place this september with filming beginning today on Monday sept 9th 2008.
The movie will take place chronilogically 15 days before the miniseries and during season 1 and possibly a part of season 2 and will focus on the cylons. The movie looks at the cylon plan of invading the colonies and we see the numorous cylon models {2 cylon agents in particular} and how they deal with the survivors of the attacks. We also see the activities of cylon agents in the fleet. The main characters will include Cavil,Tyrol and Anders. Other cast members include Tricia Helfer {six}, Grace Park{Boomer}, Rick Worthy {simon}, Matthew Bennett{ Doral} and Callum Rennie {Leoban}. We will also see Micheal Hogan{ Tigh} and Rekha Sharma {Tory} although they will only be in a handful of scenes it seems. It is an indepth look at the cylon world after the assault on the colonies. The movie will be broadcast after the series finale and will go straight to DVD. It is a 2 hr movie directed by EJO and espensen. It is due to air in november 2009

Meanwhile 'Caprica' is due to air with a 2 hour miniseries leading to the actual series{ 51 yrs before the events of BSG}.
Filming for the miniseries is now complete and is in the post production stage. 20 new episodes aew scheduled for early 2010, the miniseries may be aired april 21st.

Known things and strong possibilities in season second half: Spoiler: D'Anna dies in the next episode or the episode after, she was supposed to only be on for a handful of episodes so they won't be asking her who the fifth is. There will be a massive battle at the very end bigger than anything we've seen, due to the production team having to save a lot of money for the end of battlestar galactica. Possibly the end of the cylons?

Actually, it's a good idea to have a thread with this title constantly on page 1, as you said, hopefully it will stop people posting any more "was this the ending?" threads... but you never know.
