Linda Blair is one cool gal!
IMHO the screaming guests added to the ambiance - i did find it funny when the tough *i can handle anything* people had meltdowns soon after they arrived at their haunted locations!

The screaming is annoying, yes, but that was the point of the show specifically when it was first created. If they didn't find someone who was actually that nervous and scared to scream nonstop, then they'd actually ask the people to act as if they're in dire fear - and scream.
