I’m an anthropology grad student taking a course titled “The Supernatural” (it’s actually as much fun as it sounds) at Cal State Northridge, and I’ve chosen to write a research paper about supernatural tourism. As part of my research, I’ve chosen to take some friends on a ghost tour, where I could participate, take notes, and interview my friends about their experiences afterward.
I’ve found some potential tours through Google, but I'd like to hear some of your suggestions. What are some ghost tours in the Los Angeles area that would be good for my research? Because my friends (and myself) are mostly poor college students, I’d prefer something relatively cheap.
Also, I'm going on some self-guided tours. So I'd love your suggestions for places to visit/information to guide me (books, websites, etc.)
I've lived in the the LA area my whole life, but I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to ghost hunting.
Thanks!
Kristine Keller
