Again, I'm straying from story arcs or overall plot, just moments that I found really great.

1) Starbuck shoots Skullz

2) Adama bluffs Zarek with laundry reports'

3) Madame President's shrieking tirade dragging Baltar to the airlock, trying to get hin to confess

4) Boomer beats Athena and has sex with her husband right in front of her

5) Episode 'Scar' in total

6) Ellen resurrecting

7) the Ellen/John dialogue

8) when the Hybrid jumps unexpectedly

9) Head 6 forcing Baltar into 3-way conversations from invisibility

10) Galen snapping Tory's neck

11) Tigh impregnating C6

12) The 5 attempting to share the resurrection designs (I just thought that was cool)

13) when Sam grabs Kara as she is about to shoot him in the hybrid pod

14) The action on Kobol, the opera house + the tomb + the search for the tomb

15) Lee blowing up the cylon tyllium base

16) Kat punches Kara

17) upon heading to Earth1 Kara at the remembrance wall to Kat's pic "we did it, kid" (very touching moment)

18) the unexpected devastation of Earth 1

19) Kara and Helo in Kara's old apartment

20) The whole Tigh interrogation of both Boomer AND Chief and all three of their actions toward each other even though their all cylons

For me, the best moment of the entire series was when Gaius meets Gina Inviere for the first time. Dramatic and touching. It is the first time that Gaius admits that he loves Six and how important she was to him.

The flashback to Gauis' father and C6 finding him a new place to live was very poignant,

Gaeta's ranting against Adama (the first parts, in the CIC when he first takes over, not during the fake "trial") were GREAT because I felt he had a lot of good points to be made and questions to be asked. It added a lot of weight to what was going on in regards to how people could suddenly accept the cylon alliance without question (and they obviously did question it).

Galactica meeting Pegasus. Galactica's vipers flying in front of the huge ship, with that great musical theme playing, the sense of relief and sudden surge of hope... very electrifying moment.

You can see the adrenaline rush as he tries to process this new chain of events, and he handles it brilliantly.

Still gives me goosebumps. My absolute favourite moment in BSG.

The "Exodus" operation; with Galactica jumping into atmosphere, launching her Vipers and then jumping away again before hitting the ground.

One of the best escape scenes ever filmed, if you ask me.

My favorite, too. What an extraordinary visual!

The most beautiful (though not really unexpected) moment for me was Galactica clearing the moon and seeing our Earth. Sadly (IMO), it all went downhill after that.

Easily my best deleted scene moment is from The Son Also Rises when Athena confronts Cally. Great scene, nice to see Athena being aggressive instead of her normal always trying to fit in. It's a shame they didn't include it in the final cut since it fits well with both Athena and Cally's characters and there wasn't 1:1 since Athena got outta the brig. Nicki did great trying to stand her ground but still being really scared and Athena was very intense and intimidating - I love the gun scrape on the Viper at the end!

I'm really glad you both liked it! Great scene indeed. Ok, when I saw this thread I swore to myself not to just list every Boomer/Athena/Eight scene that I like but I thought the Athena/Cally scene was a hidden gem. Here's another tough Athena deleted scene that was incorporated to the extended edition of this episode in the Blu-Ray set which I highly recommend. The complete set is $180 now but goes on sale sometimes and is worth it many times over (even at 180!).

It's too bad both these Athena scenes were chopped from the regular episodes (though this one made into the extended). I guess Moore & Company wanted to reserve bad arse, tough female stuff for Starbuck. It's a shame because Grace Park does this kind of thing really well: she can be threatening and she has a strong, rich voice for ragging people out. Better than Katee's for sure. Kind of funny how they were both Starbuck finalists but I'm real glad Grace Park ended with the Eight roles.

Another great scene. Goes to show how the acting was superb. It makes me want to watch the BSG again. I don't own the BDs.

I forgot this scene was not supposed to be there. Because on the disc it has the regularly-aired version and then the extended version and I just always watch the extended one. It brings back my hatred of the whole Sharon/Sharon thing because she basically takes no blame for the fact she basically tricked Helo into impregnating her by pretending to BE her...... and here she is condemning a man who fell under the same trickery SHE HERSELF used! Why is Chief any more guilty than Helo? That will always p!ss me off.
