We had the pleasure of interviewing Grant Wilson for our new show The Reveal http://thereveal.podomatic.com/
as a long-time fan of the show this was a dream come true
here's the interview synopsis
Grant Wilson, along with the rest of the Ghost Hunters team, has revolutionised the way in which people perceive paranormal research and has succeeded in bringing a tremendous amount of credibility and integrity to a once ridiculed and largely ignored field of paranormal research. His departure from the show in 2012 both shocked and upset millions of TV fans around the world, who had become accustomed and attached to his very warm, well-humoured and humbled persona in front of the camera.
In this interview we explore the history of Ghost Hunters, including the pivotal moment when it was finally decided, after TAPS had rejected a total of five offers to create Ghost Hunters, that the then 14 year old paranormal research group would allow the cameras into their daily lives in 2004 through Pilgrim Films and the challenge it became to balance the demands of the show producers with the honest investigation techniques that TAPS uses.
Grant reflects upon the success of the show that he help build and recalls how most of the TAPS team only ever imagined that the program would run for one season. The anticipation that TAPS felt relating to the world's reaction to the show, coupled with the hard demands of suddenly becoming a weekly TV star, were massive challenges for every member of Ghost Hunters and in this interview Grant explores this history, candidly revealing his perspective upon the obstacles and pitfalls that TAPS had to overcome.
We discuss some of Ghost Hunters most terrifying cases, including their brush with a town involved heavily with the occult and a place so steeped in human terror that even the police were members of this dark circle of evil. Obviously elated by his time on the show, Grant Wilson discusses his relationship with fans, who for the most part have been extremely supportive of what Ghost Hunters is doing. There have been cases of problematic fans of the show, as Grant recalls, including one man who had to be jailed for his obsessive and harmful behaviour.
Furthermore, Grant explains some of the most humorous moments on Ghost Hunters, including how he was able to conquer the 'beep' machine with his now notorious phrases such as "what the fetch?".
Then we venture into Grant's new life as an amazing gifted illustrator, Visual Director at Rather Dashing Games and band member in Carpetshark. The link for all of this work can be found at the end of this show description and must be viewed by all listeners of this episode.
To be honest, this is such a detailed and in-depth interview that space does not permit all its content to be explained in a mere show description. It's a superb discussion of one man's triumphant success in achieving the goals he set out to achieve for the paranormal community and victims of paranormal occurrence and it is not be missed by anyone, whether you are a fan of Ghost Hunters or not.
Will Grant ever return to our TV screens in Ghost Hunters? How long will Jason Hawes carry on the show for? Just what makes Dave Tango one of the most entertaining men in paranormal TV? How rich are the Ghost Hunters? Will Grant Wilson make his own TV show? The answers to these questions and more can be found inside.

I don't remember Ghost Hunters going to Silent Hill, is this a cross-dimensional thread? Darn internet, screwing with the fabric of time, space, dimension, and reality.
