bump +1 etc, Showing some Grace Park / Boomer-Athena-Eight appreciation!

Things are looking up for Grace at Hawaii Five-0 now that Lauren German has been given the boot from the show. From S2E02 to S2E16 German's character, Lori, has woodenly acted through all manner of weird story lines all the while taking away time from Grace and Daniel Dae Kim. It felt like parts of BSG season 3 and 4 when Boomer was all but gone and Athena didn't have much going on. Tell me again why Athena wasn't made CAG - that would have had lots of interesting ramifications! But, I digress. Grace's character on H50, Kono, is already doing more and the last episode S2E17 (with no Lori!) was very good, a throw back to H50 season 1 with all 4 core players active.

Love GP in Five-0, so I'll be glad to see her get more screen time. Every time Kono goes all ninja on a bad guy, I automatically think "Well of course she's able to take him down, after all she's a cylon." Then I start to giggle. Those were good times...

Re the CAG thing (at least in season 4.5), I'd like to think it had something to do with her killing Natalie, who only wanted peace, with no provocation other than "gee, I had this dream...". It boggled my mind that there were NO repercussions for that cold-blooded act of murder. I'd like to think someone in the chain of command still had some semblance of conscience.

^ Well, to be fair she was probably only trying to protect the Resurrection Hub from that horrible colonial/cylon pact, and to that end she was prepared to sacrifice her own life and that of Helo (along with everyone else on the then-damaged baseship), not to mention putting her beloved daughter's life in serious peril along with the lives of everyone else on the Galactica. So it was a quixotic and protective act, born of pure altruism and self-sacrifice.

Or the writers are f***tards.

Athena's actions would have been a bit more understandable if Natalie had even looked like the Six in her visions (always a Caprica Six, never a Natalie). Come on, Athena was a cylon, so she knew this was not the same Six as in her visions! Just another one of RDM's "deaths for the shock value" I guess, because it made no sense otherwise.
